Widget Options goal is to provide extensive options to manage WordPress widget easily without leaving the widget droppable section. My best option is create a tabbed settings which works perfectly on most users as seen on the fully 5-star review on the first month : https://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/widget-options. Thank you very much!
Today I’ve released plugin’s version 1.2 which will truly change and improve your widget handling. As a developer myself, sometimes I need to add specific class on the widget or change the automated ID to new one for better CSS targeting. Thus I’ve decided to include this feature as a new tab for Widget Options 🙂 Here is how easy and user friendly this additional feature works.
Assign Predefined Classes and/or Manage Fields
New settings page will be added, Settings > Widget Options which will give you the following:
- – Show or Hide the ID field just in case you needed to
- – Manage the Classes Field Types you want to show
- – Add Predefined Classes, which is a perfect solution if you already has set of classes and styling added on your stylesheet.
ID & Classes Widget Options Tab
Below each droppable widgets you’ll notice that the gear or ID & Classes tab were added. On this section you can assign custom ID, classes ( separated by spaces ) and select on the predefined classes if you’ve added any on the admin settings page.
